A fun little pocket alien you get to take care of for a minute.
Every blurry photo and late-night sighting is real. Mothman, Bigfoot, Nessie and their friends aren't monsters at all: they're aliens and interdimensional beings who drift between their worlds and ours. They look after each other, they're a bit shy around cameras, and mostly they just want to be chill.
Cryptids travel through portals between worlds. Lately those portals have been flickering, wobbling and popping open in all the wrong places. Baby cryptids and lost little ones are slipping through and getting stranded here, far from home and too small to look after themselves.
You're a Cryptid Keeper: a human the cryptids trust. You'll adopt a stranded baby, give it a warm den, feed it, cook its favorite dish, play with it and keep it happy. Every one of them is a little different, and every one of them is counting on you. (And no, Keepers don't post blurry photos.)
The cryptids' homes stretch across many worlds, all part of one big, strange, wonderful universe.
Every one of these worlds is connected, and so is everyone in them. When one corner of the universe gets polluted, overheated, too loud or too bright, the cryptids feel it, and so do the critters and people living there. We all share the same home (yes, even us). Taking care of cryptids means taking care of the world they live in.
Cryptid Keepers is meant to be fun and good for you. Alongside the Arcade's action games, you'll find brain-health games that exercise memory and focus, and Universal Quiz!, where Grade 8 science facts about space, Earth, energy, life and your own brain earn you MonsterCoins. Cooking, brewing, saving in the Bank and trading at the Black Market all teach a little something too.
It's free, it runs on tips, and it never asks you to pay to win.
